Upload a COBie .xlsx — all 16 standard sheets become queryable handover tables, joinable to your model by IfcGuid.
COBie is the FM-handover deliverable contractually required on most large projects: 16 standard sheets describing every Facility, Floor, Space, Type, Component, System, Spare, Resource, Job, Document, Attribute, Coordinate, Connection, Assembly, Issue and Contact. iDBQuery parses them into 16 SQLite tables (cobie_facility, cobie_component, etc.) keyed by external_identifier (IfcGuid where present). Optionally pick a target IFC / APS source — the source page surfaces a coverage report showing which model elements have / lack a Component row, and chat answers contractual questions like 'do all my doors have warranty info?' in one query.
Everything iDBQuery's COBie (Construction-Operations Building information exchange) connector supports out of the box.
Project → Add source → COBie. The picker offers an optional 'cross-check against' field for picking the IFC / APS source you want coverage against.
Drag-drop or pick. iDBQuery parses all 16 standard sheet names (Facility, Floor, Space, Type, Component, System, Spare, Resource, Job, Document, Attribute, Coordinate, Connection, Assembly, Issue, Contact).
If a target was set, the source page shows missing Component rows by IFC category, components with no serial number, and AHU-completeness checks (FM contractor red flags).
Ask 'what fraction of doors have warranty info?', 'spaces without an assigned use', 'top 10 manufacturers by component count'.
