Pick a Doc; ask the AI questions about it. No new permissions.
iDBQuery imports Google Docs into your document folder source — same chunking + embedding pipeline as PDFs, DOCX, and spreadsheets. We export each Doc as `.docx` via the Drive API, run it through the standard text extractor, chunk into ~500-token windows, and embed for semantic retrieval. Authentication piggybacks on the existing Live Sheets `drive.file` OAuth flow — non-sensitive scope, no new consent screen, no new verification. If you've already connected Google Sheets, your existing token works for Docs immediately. Re-sync any time to pick up edits.
Everything iDBQuery's Google Docs connector supports out of the box.
From your project, click 'Add source' → Document folder. (Or open an existing folder source.)
On the folder source page, click the 'Google Docs' button next to 'Add files'. Sign in with Google in the popup. iDBQuery requests only `drive.file` — no broader access.
Multi-select Docs in the Drive Picker. Each Doc is exported as `.docx`, indexed, and chunked for semantic search. Indexing typically completes within a few seconds per Doc.
Ask questions about the Doc's content — the AI retrieves relevant chunks and cites them. Use the 'resync' button on a Doc row to pull the latest edits.
